On May 18, an exhibition of the nominees for the Sergey Kuryokhin Prize for 2022 opened in St. Petersburg. The Sergey Kuryokhin Prize is one of the most notable cultural events in St. Petersburg and Russia. It is awarded to artists, curators, musicians, writers and journalists who develop in their work the ideas of searching for new forms of art interaction, formulated in the 90s by Sergey Kuryokhin.
Natalia Spechinskaya, artist of the K35 gallery, was the winner of the 2022 prize in the category "Best Work of Visual Art In her "PSYCOMICS" series of graphic works created during the pandemic, Natalia sought to create an ironic story that could confront reality. Her vivid works reflect an individual view of a world that is filled with wonders and distinctive mythology.
