The master class will include a mini-lecture and a tactile experiment, during which viewers will be able to study various types of fabric with a focus on bodily impressions.
At the introduction to the theoretical part, we will learn about:
▫️ Connections of sensations, emotions, states and materials;
▫️ How the body feels surrounded by materials;
▫️ Connections of clothing and interior textiles;

The experiment itself will consist in the analysis and subsequent discussion of tactile sensations in isolation from visual impressions. Blindfolded viewers will be able to feel various fabrics and textiles, including those presented at the exhibition, and understand their feelings.
Lecturer:
Panic Trees is a designer, artist, curator. In artistic practice, he uses costume and textiles as media. Creator of his own artistic stamps, author of the brand concept and capsule collection for the Artmossphere Biennale, designer of #strelkaraincoat for the Strelka Institute of Media, Architecture and Design. Participant of many fashion weeks.
