Exhibition «Thanks, I'll Change the Color»

Exhibitions
Dates: 04/06/2026 – 19/07/2026
Address: 9 Usacheva St., Moscow
At the core of this exhibition is the tone of a polite, almost everyday kind of refusal. The phrase sounds friendly, but inside it there's an important gesture: the world has already been handed to us in certain colors — social, emotional, optical, cultural — and the artist responds not with a clash or a manifesto, but with a personal act of transformation: Thank you, I see this differently”.

“Change the color” doesn't mean to decorate or make things brighter. It means to change how we perceive. Light is no longer just a condition for seeing — it becomes a tool that can reshape the architecture of space, bring what was in shadow into view, or create a new texture on a surface. Color is treated as a tactile layer, as paint that covers and transforms. A bus station can turn into something like a theatrical stage of color; a beach — a fragment of memory; a garden — a system of stains and sensations; glass — a trap for light; a carnival — a state where the image falls apart and comes back together.

“Thanks, I'll Change the Color” is an exhibition about the freedom to see differently. About how color and light become not a way to decorate the world, but a way to gently recalibrate it: without pathos, without lecturing — yet with a clear feeling that reality is never handed to us in just one version.
